How to Do It:

  • Find a wall to use as a training partner.
  • Stand about 3–5 meters away from the wall.
  • Pass the ball against the wall with your dominant foot and control it as it rebounds.
  • Switch to your non-dominant foot to balance your skillset.
  • Increase the speed of your passes.
  • Use one-touch passes instead of controlling the ball first.
  • Alternate between low passes and lofted passes.

Remember to focus on accuracy by aiming for a specific spot on the wall.

2. Triangle Passing Drill

This drill enhances teamwork, quick decision-making, and movement off the ball.

How to Do It:

  • Set up three cones in a triangle shape, with players standing at each cone.
  • Player A passes the ball to Player B, who then passes it to Player C.
  • After passing, each player moves to the next cone.

Additionally, you can add a defender to create a more game-like scenario or reduce the size of the triangle to encourage faster passing. Remember to communicate clearly to make the drill flow smoothly.

3. Two-Touch Relay Drill

Two-Touch Relay Drill develops passing speed, control, and focus.

How to Do It:

  • Form two lines of players about 10 meters apart.
  • Player A passes the ball to Player B in the opposite line.
  • Player B takes one touch to control the ball and another to pass it back to the next player in Player A’s line.

4. Through-Pass Drill

This drill focuses on creating goal-scoring opportunities with well-timed through passes.

How to Do It:

  • Set up cones to create a narrow "defender zone" in the middle of the court.
  • Two players on one side act as passers, while a third player acts as a runner on the opposite side.
  • Passers aim to send the ball through the cones to the runner.
  • Add a defender inside the cone area to simulate real-game pressure.
  • Experiment with different pass angles and distances.

5. One-Touch Circle Drill

One-Touch Circle Drill improves quick passing under pressure and spatial awareness.

How to Do It:

  • Arrange players in a circle with one player in the middle.
  • The players on the outer circle pass the ball to the middle player, who returns it with one touch.
  • Rotate the middle player after a set time.
  • Increase the pace of passing.
  • Add a second ball to intensify the drill.

6. 4v1 Rondo Drill

4v1 Rondo Drill enhances passing accuracy and decision-making under defensive pressure.

How to Do It:

  • Create a small square using cones.
  • Four players stand on the edges, while one defender occupies the middle.
  • The outer players pass the ball around, trying to keep it away from the defender.

7. Quick Passing Ladder

Quick Passing Ladder can improve footwork, coordination, and passing speed.

How to Do It:

  • Set up cones in a straight line about 1 meter apart.
  • Dribble through the cones, stopping to make a pass to a teammate after every third cone.
  • Repeat the process in reverse.
  • Increase the speed of dribbling and passing.
  • Use your weaker foot to enhance versatility.
  • Remember to maintain close control of the ball while dribbling.

8. No-Look Passing Drill

No-Look Passing Drill develops creativity and unpredictability in passing.

How to Do It:

  • Pair up with a teammate.
  • Pass the ball while looking in the opposite direction.
  • Focus on maintaining accuracy without relying on direct sight.
  • Incorporate quick direction changes.
